Larry Shapiro, PhD, has been a clinical psychologist for over 30 years. He is currently in private practice, where he specializes in the application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CMT) for trauma, combat-related trauma, first responder-related trauma, treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), life cycle transitions, and narcissistic relationships. In addition to his clinical practice, Larry is an adjunct instructor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine and is a lead therapist at the Healthy Mind Lab, participating in clinical psychedelic research. He integrates psychedelic medicines, when appropriate, to help individuals get “unstuck” in therapy and achieve greater peace of mind.
