Colby Martin, PA-C
Physician Assistant-Certified
Logan UT
As an Integrative practitioner I encourage any treatment that either has good evidence or the individual feels is beneficial to them. I continue to prescribe conventional medications for mental health but feel that there is much more than can be done. In addition to counseling on lifestyle I often perform functional medicine labs to identify any contributing factors such as nutritional/hormonal imbalances, infections or toxins that interfere with mood and neurotransmitter function. I believe there is a strong connection between gut health and mental health.
For ketamine treatments I personally provide the preparatory and integrative support needed to get the most out of treatments and provide options for therapists for those who need additional support.

Through his own study and the experiences accounted to him by multiple patients he learned about the value of psychedelia for mental health.
