Marriage and Family Therapist

Currently MDMA and Psilocybin are not legal in the United States, and I do not offer these compounds as a therapy modality at this time. I will not reply to inquiries about illegal substances or sitting for you with any compound that is currently illegal in the United States. Please only inquire about Preparation and Integration support, or therapy services listed on my website. What I can offer is psychological support, education around vetting your provider, research and information supported by current evidence that will reduce harm, preparation and integration support and ongoing psychotherapy that can support what you have experienced in a journey. It is my intention as your therapist to help ensure that you can have a safe and beneficial psychedelic experience through harm reduction, education and psychological support.
Over the past seven years, my journey as a therapist has led me to offering support to individuals and relationships as they navigate their unique paths toward a deeper self-knowing. My therapeutic approach is rooted in family systems theory, attachment theory, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and an awareness of internalized oppression. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I tend to work well with a variety of relationship formats and expressions of sexuality. I have completed two years of training in Hakomi somatic therapy which incorporates mindfulness, Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational repair, attachment theory, drama therapy interventions, and elements of sensorimotor psychotherapy. I have also completed training in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy, Holotropic breathwork, and more. As a member of the C.G. Jung Society, I frequently incorporate archetypal work and dream exploration in therapy, aiming to illuminate the diverse facets of the self that steer our unconscious behaviors, thoughts, and actions. I also find the lens of neuroscience supports a scientific understanding of behavior change, and how the intelligence of our mind-body connection synthesizes important information that helps us survive, creates patterns of suffering, and allows us to thrive and shift so that change is possible. Before venturing into therapy, my background was in filmmaking and visual art. I often bring creative tools into session to access intuition, flow states, and the unconscious. For the past 20 years I have delved deeply into meditation practices, music, yoga, and esoteric psychology. I draw from these practices to support you holistically as the complete, creative, and intelligent human being that you are. I am committed to doing my work, and I intend to offer a welcoming and grounded refuge for those seeking a deeper connection with themselves. I am committed to self-reflection, ethics, and open dialogue. To ensure that I am seeing you as clearly as possible, I attend supervision in contemplative psychotherapy with Naropa University’s Uğur Kocataşkın, PhDc. My hope is for you to come home to yourself and find that you are already whole, just as you are.
