Ash Anthony, LMFT

Marriage and Family Therapist
Seattle WA
Currently MDMA and Psilocybin are not legal in the United States, and I do not offer these compounds as a therapy modality at this time. I will not reply to inquiries about illegal substances or sitting for you with any compound that is currently illegal in the United States. Please only inquire about Preparation and Integration support, or therapy services listed on my website. What I can offer is psychological support, education around vetting your provider, research and information supported by current evidence that will reduce harm, preparation and integration support and ongoing psychotherapy that can support what you have experienced in a journey. It is my intention as your therapist to help ensure that you can have a safe and beneficial psychedelic experience through harm reduction, education and psychological support.
All parts of you are welcome here. I create a warm, brave, and creative space where you can explore your inner landscape with grounded presence. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a thorough education in somatic therapies, trauma-informed modalities, and neuroscience, ensuring that you are supported holistically in your journey of self-discovery. For the past eight years, my work as a therapist has focused on supporting individuals and relationships as they navigate their unique paths toward deeper self-knowing. I draw from a variety of therapeutic methods, including family systems theory, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, expressive arts, and a belief that we are all working toward both collective and individual liberation. My training includes two years in Hakomi somatic therapy, which combines mindfulness with Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational repair, attachment theory, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and reenactments. I’ve also trained in EMDR, Ketamine-Assisted Therapy, MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy, Holotropic breathwork, and yoga. As a member of the C.G. Jung Society, I often incorporate archetypal work, dream exploration, and shamanic practices to illuminate the unconscious influences that shape our behaviors, thoughts, and actions. I also find that neuroscience offers an invaluable lens for understanding survival, our mind-body connection, and shifting outdated patterns that no longer serve us. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in filmmaking and visual art, and I often incorporate creative tools into therapy to tap into intuition, flow states, and the unconscious. Over the past 20 years, I have immersed myself in meditation, music, yoga, and esoteric psychology, using these practices to support you as the complete, creative, and intelligent human being that you are. I am deeply committed to doing my own work and to offering a welcoming and grounded refuge for anyone seeking a deeper connection with themselves. This is a space of belonging for all people, regardless of religious beliefs, gender or sexual expression, class, physical or intellectual ability, health status, educational background, relationship format, ethnicity, race, indigenous affiliation, birth era, age, or immigration status. My deepest hope is that you come home to yourself and realize that you are already whole, just as you are.
