I believe in walking alongside my clients, adapting my approach to honor their individual needs and aspirations. In our sessions, we frequently delve into personal narratives, life decisions, and the profound questions of meaning and purpose. By shining a light on these core areas, we uncover insights that fuel genuine change and growth. My goal is to provide a safe, empowering environment where clients feel understood, free to explore their thoughts and emotions, and confident to challenge unhelpful beliefs. Together, we rewrite old stories into new, more fulfilling possibilities—paving the way toward deeper self-awareness and a clearer sense of one’s place in the world.
My professional journey began with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, igniting my fascination with the psychological facets of religious and mystical encounters. This curiosity took me to the Middle East, where I immersed myself in diverse religious traditions and cultures—an experience that broadened my understanding of spirituality’s role in personal growth. Returning to the United States, I spent years working in various mental health and substance abuse settings, including addiction treatment centers, inpatient and partial day programs, case management, and crisis intervention. These experiences deepened my empathy and shaped my integrated therapeutic approach. I later earned a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, building on this foundation to refine my practice. Outside of my work, I am drawn to the healing power of nature. I spend my free time hiking, studying plants, and reading. I am also dedicated to social justice and human rights, ensuring my practice remains grounded in respect, compassion, and inclusivity. By uniting these personal interests, professional experiences, and core values, I strive to provide a holistic therapeutic environment where each client is supported in the pursuit of meaningful change and authentic self-discovery.
