Workshop Description

In this workshop, we bring together women healers to deepen understanding of sacredness and embodied ceremonial wisdom.

We explore a variety of modalities and techniques to enhance and refine attunement to the client’s process, informed by archetypal, relational, and somatic practices and Indigenous wisdom traditions.

We consider the awareness of our symbiotic relationship with nature and the cosmos as a central element of health and wellness.

We bring a critical lens to look at the ways that reductionistic and binary versions of the divine feminine and divine masculine archetypes can reinforce gender stereotypes at a sociocultural level, and examine how we can reclaim and harmonize these energies within ourselves.

We explore the principle and utility of beauty as a transformative element in expressive arts integration work.

We explore the connection between the therapist’s relational awareness, their somatic awareness, their capacity for self-regulation, and their capacity to attune and resonate with the client.

Finally, we examine the use of the therapist's own intuitive insights, feelings, and perceptions to connect to the client in different states of consciousness.

Teachings are appropriate for healthcare professionals as well as the general public. Healthcare professionals will be able to incorporate the tools and practices offered in this program in ways beneficial to clients or patients.
